Just Found Out

Thailand was never colonized

I just found out on my Thai Studies class that Thailand did not underwent the colonial rule of European nations unlike their neighboring countries. It served as the buffer state between the France's colonies in the east  (Laos and Cambodia) and Britain's in the north, south and west (Myanmar and Malaysia).
