Sometimes, the most impulsive decisions in life were the best ones.
On a Friday evening, one of my friends from Japan, Ayana, invited me to go with them to Siam Amazing Park the next day. Without second thoughts, I just accepted the invitation and gave her the money to buy me the ticket. She purchased an online pass which was 650 baht, including an international buffet. It was cheap and worth it.

Saturday, November 5, we went to Siam Amazing Park. We left our dormitory around 9:20 and arrived at the park at 9:50. Upon arrival, we got the ticket at the counter, the wristband, and the park’s map. They told us that some of the rides were temporarily closed for maintenance. One of my friends did not buy the ticket online, so he bought it at the counter, which cost 500 baht (with a student discount already). Unfortunately, he needs to pay 350 more to avail the buffet. So, if you plan to go to the park, It is better to buy tickets online.
The park was not crowded, with no long lines on the rides, just a few people. I am so excited. The place reminds me of the Enchanted Kingdom in the Philippines.

When we entered the park, the first ride we tried was the rollercoaster called Boomerang. It was fun and exciting. It shook my body and spirit. Honestly, I just closed my eyes during the ride. We sat in the last wagon and reached the highest point. I am scared of heights. After the ride, I thought it was too easy and short. It took less than 2 minutes. The next one we conquered was the Twin Dragon, a giant ship that swings back and forth while getting high and higher. The experience was not scary. The ride itself was frightening. We hear clacking sounds from the machine, and it feels like anytime the ride will collapse. Looking at the rides, they were old and rusty. Then, we went to Log Flume (similar to Jungle Log Jam in EK). In the end, I got wet. The water splashed on my face because I was in the front seat. So, you better bring extra clothes or a towel when riding this one. Then, we took a short break and ate some snacks. I ate a hotdog waffle for 35 baht. We still have ample time before lunch. We rode the Balloon Flying, the most extreme ride, the Vortex, and had a short tour of Jurassic Park.

Lunchtime. We ate at Siam Marine restaurant. I ate so much food like tofu, chicken noodle soup, fried rice, chicken in tomato sauce, and watermelon. However, something is missing, dessert. I bought Magnum’s almond ice cream for 50 baht. Then, the adventure continues. We ride the Rainbow basket. It is like a horizontal Ferris wheel, but it spins faster and rises at an angle until it reaches an upright position. Did I say I haven’t slept? Yes, I went to the park without sleep. At this time, I was too sleepy, and I did not feel terrified. Luckily, the Horror House woke me up. Frankly, it was not scary. I am just shocked by the noises and sound effects. I was at the end of the line, so I constantly thought someone was following me from behind. Next, we rode the Vortex again. This time, I opened my eyes. Afterward, we rode the Disco Turntable and the Space Shuttle.

Aside from the amusement rides, the park has Water World. It has the Guinness World Record’s largest wave pool. In addition, there are giant waterslides and huge swimming pools. First, we tried the Giant Waterslide and the Super Spiral. It was fun, however, I suggest wearing a shirt because the slide scratches your back. Then, we took a short dip in the artificial sea. It felt like I was at the beach because there were waves and palm trees. Then, we went to the Siam Lagoon, a water playground for children, and the Mini Slide. I think we only stayed there for just an hour. After, I bought another ice cream and saw some horses and deer.

Third round. We are determined to ride everything, we almost did. After taking a shower, we get back to the theme park. We rode the Take-Off, and it swung and spun back and forth. Then, the most dizzying ride, the Ranger. It is a vertical ride that rotates 360 degrees. I filmed the ride but I got so scared I did not press record. So, I was tightly holding my phone the whole time. I’m really afraid of dropping it. My friends still have a lot of energy. I’m tired and sleepy. I am a bandwagon so I joined them in the Sky Hawk. After that ride, I felt super dizzy and knew I might vomit If I went to another one. Lastly, to relax, we ride the Carousel. My Japanese friends rode the Boomerang again but I did not join them. That’s the end of our amazing day. It is one of the best days of my stay in Thailand.
